Book review #4 "Harry the Dirty Dog"

Harry was a white dog with black spots. He does not like having a bath. One day, he buried scrubbing brush in the back yard and he run away from home. He played where he got very dirty. For example, the road was being worked on. After all, he changed to a black dog with white spots. He wondered if his family would not recognize his face. When he got back home, his family did not notice he was Harry as he had expected. He was so sad. He almost gave up. Then, he got a good idea. He dug a back yard and he found the scrubbing brush. He run into the house with it. The children washed Harry, and shouted “It’s Harry!” He was very happy.

Feelings
The story reminded me my childhood. When I was a little boy, I played outside and became dirty every day like Harry though I liked taking a bath. I thought that the expression “he changed from a white dog with black spots, to a black dog with white spots” was very interesting. Harry is very cute. I want to have a dog like Harry. He had be a good dog if only he liked taking a bath.

Recently, most of children play inside. I want them to play outside more like Harry. I believe it is good for their health.

I like this story very much.
