Essay#1 Introduction for host family

Hello, my name is Shinichiro T. I’m KGU student.
I’m 20 years old.

Now, I like music so much. My favorite singers are “Aerosmith”, “Bon Jovi”, “Southern All Stars”; they are a famous group in Japan and “going steady”; they are a punk rock group in Japan but they have broken up.
So, I like rock music Rock music excites me. How about you? Do you like music?
If you do, what kind of music do you like?

By the way, I like watching and playing sports very much. Especially, I like baseball. I will play catch together if you like.

What are the popular foods in your country? It is most important question because, eating is my job. It is just kidding.

By the way, are there famous sightseeing places and or historical places in your country? I want to go to there. I have a passionate interest for history.

What is your hobby? My hobbies are singing songs, play mahjong(do you know?), playing sports and watching movies. Especially, I like to watch movies. My favorite movies are “the 007 series”( James Bond is very cool!), “Star Wars”, “the Godzilla series”(I think that the greatest movie in Japan!) and “Independence Day”. The movie is wonderful. There are various emotions in one story. Those are anger, sadness, pleasure and more. Such emotions give impression and power to us. So, I like movies.

Now, I’m preparing for this trip. I’ll bring a present for you. What kind of Japanese things do you like? Please give me some hints for the present. I’m looking forward to see you. Bye-bye.
